And the Oscar goes to........

BIG G!!!!!!!!!!! Only a select few will find this as cool as it is but for the very FIRST time EVER, my family all sat down to the EXACT same meal, and EVERYONE ate it!!!! To most who are reading this, it is probably very confusing but believe me, this is HUGE!! So big, I had to blog (okay, brag) about it. Our G has struggled with eating for so long and we took a leap of faith in putting him on a gf/cf diet not knowing if he'd even thrive on it. We have been diligent about making sure no food goes into his mouth that could be proven toxic to his entire body. I made a typical pot roast/carrots/potato medley and baked it in the oven. I cut up all of his meal into bite size pieces and crossed my fingers when we all sat down to the exact same meal as a family. With NO screaming or crying (which is not unusual at mealtime in my house, you'd think we were beating him the way he is so fearful of food) he ate his ENTIRE plate! He is officially for the first time, a member of the clean plate club!! Way to go buddy, we are so ecstatic and proud of you after last nights performance! Keep it up G!!!!

More than half way cleared!! Keep going!!

YOU DID IT!!! Meat, carrots, potatoes...all gone!!!!!! WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

**mommy is extra happy though because I didn't have to make multiple meals for once!!!!

Yay G!!! I am happy for you and G. Hopefully he will continue with trying new foods and maybe sometime he will like plain water too. Does he still not like that?

He'll only drink plain water if it is in a water bottle with a sport top, not a screw on lid. If it's in a cup, it has to have a little juice in it. I guess it's a little better than how you remembered.

Congrats, Big G! We're proud of you!! That is truly a major accomplishment. I'm sure it will make life a easier for the whole family, especially for you, Heather, when he starts doing that on a regular basis.
