I'm not sniffing it.
We decided to have some good ol' family fun and attend, "Grossology: The Impolite Science of the Human Body" exhibit that is traveling through our neck of the woods right now. Sounded fun until we got there and realized the human body is disgusting on a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL!!

My children in front of the "zit and blister" wall. This was actually a type of "rock" climbing wall. It was gross to look at.
Ok, this was actually cute, a giant game of "Operation". Little R was funny though, she pulled out the stomach and said, "look mom, it's G's ham!".
Yup, the kiddos LOVED sliding down a giant intestine! G now knows what poop is made up of.
Ahh, the "sneezer". At any given moment inside this nose, it will sneeze on you. I laugh just thinking about it.
And my hubby's face says it all. He thought this exhibit was nasty and couldn't believe my kids were proud to make snot (that is what is in their baggies). If you want to get Mr. D all riled up just ask him what body part he got to sniff, A) armpit, B) foot, C) anus or D) mouth. I laugh out loud just thinking about all we endured at this exhibit (notice, at least I'm still smiling and holding my head high after this experience).

Nothin' but FUN when a baby turns ONE!
Can you believe this baby is 1?!?! Me neither!
The best thing about having older kids is you can put toys away, let them forget about them, clean them up, and re-gift them to the younger one! It's beautiful!
Count how many hands are in this photo. I wonder at what age kids start to realize that it is NOT their b-day, and to NOT open presents that don't belong to them??
The Grand Cake.
And the smaller "smash" cake the bakery threw in. Baby R tried the ladybug cake which turned her mouth and fingers black. She still has remnants of frosting on her hands and cheek. What is in that crap that can stain skin like that??!?! Anyway, it was a good day but the melt down did occur and she took a 2 hour nap after all was said and done. Happy Birthday Baby Girl!!

Almost!
It's been a few weeks since I posted about the pool. Here is the most up to date pic as of today.

The landscaping is starting to take "shape", literally. The darker dirt in the back is the fresh mulch for the smaller greenery that will outline the back of the pool. Behind that will be the larger trees and such.
The plaster was put on today which means water will soon be filling it. Once full, they will acid shock the water for a week so it can eat away at the quartz bottom to bring out the color of blue water we chose. Interesting process I tell ya!

It's all fun & games...
....until someone gets hurt.

Little R was jumping and crashing around on the couches last night having loads of fun until.....HORRIFIC cries came out of her. She had fell of the couch and after watching her she still had no bruising or swelling at bedtime. So, this morning we took her to the Urgent Care (she woke up in tears and wouldn't move) an X-ray showed a broken collar bone. They can't cast it but they put her in a sling to keep her from moving her arm to help it heal properly. Hang in there Little R!

Halloween Fun!
Our ward did a Halloween Carnival on Saturday night which was a lot of fun. We ate chili, did a cake walk, played games where Little R won a bracelet and G, who played musical chairs won walkie-talkies. We left the Carnival early though to go trick-or-treating.
