{LOP}.

I'm sad this is G's last year at his elementary as 5th graders move to a different school:(  This is his last Leopard of the Week he will get at his current elementary.  So you can imagine my excitement when 4th grade took every award except one at this weeks assembly!
4th grade won the most coveted award of them all, the "Golden Shoe" award.  This one means that 4th grade gets to pick the next funky dance for the next assembly.  The most screams come out of the kids for this award.
Second Grade (Little R's grade, she's dancing the tango with her buddy Emma if you can pick her out) took the "Silver Spoon Award", the only other award that 4th grade didn't take so it was fun that both our kiddos grades took the awards of the week during G's last Leopard of the Week he'll get.  The "Silver Spoon" award means that 2nd grade earned the right to have crazy hat day for the next assembly:)
4th grade cheering for their NEXT award...
They also took home the "Paw Power" award.  This award means that 4th grade had the best attendance over the past 6 weeks.
These assemblies are always full of energy, tons of music and it gets L-O-U-D!!!!!  Baby R and Mr. D both came to see G get his Leopard of the Week award, it was special because this was Mr. D's first assembly at the school so it was fitting that he came to see G get his last L.O.P.
Baby R couldn't sit still, she danced and danced!
Never did get a good picture of her since she couldn't sit still for even just a second.  She's clearly my child with all that dancing when the music starts up:)
And our 4th Grader G with his official Leopard of the Week award!  You are pure awesome G and we are so proud of you, you have done amazing this year and have really come a long way!!!  Congratulations buddy, you deserved it!!

Merry {Christmas}!!!!!

We had a great trip to Utah but before we left all the kids wrote a letter to Santa Claus letting him know that we wouldn't be home and would he please come back when we were home.  Well, let's just say, Santa DID NOT disappoint!
Little R asked for a stuffed Rainbow Dash this year and boy was she lucky to get that, I hear the elves only had ONE more left and they saved it for her!!!
Baby R was consistent this year, every time she saw Santa she asked for the same thing, a stuffed zebra.  She's been in love with her new zebra since the moment she laid eyes on him:)
G was all about Minecraft still, so what better than to have a pick axe to add to his Minecraft weaponry?
G'ma B is an amazing quilter (is that a word?).  This year she surprised all 3 of the kiddos with a new quilt just for them!  Little R is behind there holding it up:)  She has loved snuggling in this blanket every morning before school and the best part is how well it matches the color scheme of her room!

G's AMAZING Minecraft quilt from g'ma B!  From what I'm told g'ma used t-shirts for the pictures and she went to the trouble of having a company custom make the signature Minecraft pixelated green fabric to tie it all together.  I got a little teary eyed (in a good way) to see how excited G got when he opened this.  He immediately left in the middle of present opening to go put it on his bed and he has not slept without this quilt since:)

It was a great morning, I'm pretty sure everyone was very happy and grateful for what they got.  I love Christmas, I'm sure the fact that I somehow go overboard every year annoys Mr. D but to see all the smiles makes my efforts of finding the perfect gifts totally worth it:)
