Red Ryder BB Gun

My darling 3yo is giving me grief on what to get her for Christmas this year.  She is reminding me of Ralphie when all he says is, "I want an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle! ".  She sounds like a broken record but it's all she talks about so here is the dilemma...  She wants this Dora Talking Kitchen which isn't a horrible thing (although if I could punch that mega head right off of this toy I would, I think it would look better).

The problem you ask?? She HAS a kitchen. She has a cute, darling kitchen that we gave her when she turned 2. Do I put her current one in the closet, clean it up and re-gift it to baby R when she turns 2? Do I just put it in the commons area outside of the kids rooms and let it be a free-for-all toy? OR...do I ignore her "Red Ryder BB Gun" request and get her the next thing on her list which is some Princess Vanity that turns into a piano?

P.S. I love Ralphie so here is another famous quote that gets me laughing everytime I watch that movie. "Only one thing in the world could've dragged me away from the soft glow of electric sex gleaming in the window. "  LOL!!!!

Oh my GOSH Heather! You crack me up! Our neighbors actually have a leg lamp that sits proudly in their window! It's HILARIOUS!!! About your dilemma, I'm stumped. Sorry... LOVE YOU! :)

We have the Dora kitchen. I think you can remove the head. It's funny, my in-laws gave it to Anna and when my mom saw it, she said that she wouldn't allow anyone to have that Dora kitchen with such an annoying voice as Dora. I am not really bugged by it and I have to say it is a prized item when kids come over. Everyone loves it and my kids really like it and continue to play with it. The radio plays fun music and that's what they do the most. Just wanted to let you know what we think of the kitchen to help you decision maybe? Good luck!

I love Ralphie to. We watched that movie several times during the Christmas season and I laughed every single time.
