Well that's a debacle.

So what do you do when you buy a new car and it doesn't fit in the garage because its sheer massiveness is so overpowering?

Do you, (A) return your gorgous new car and find something smaller?

Do you, (B) play musical cars w/wifey's car everyday since hers technically fits but because she is horrible at backing up hubs has to back it out everytime.

                                   OR....

Do you (C) decide the car is so worth it dang it, that you cut into the garage to make it bigger?

If you are thinking (C) is the obvious answer, DING DING DING!!!  You are correct!

Moral of the story you ask?  Test drive the car and bring it home to make sure it fits BEFORE signing and driving.....just sayin'.

That is too funny! My mom's car was the same way for the longest time. They could park it in the garage but then you couldn't get out of the car. There was no room to open the doors. So she parked in the driveway for the longest time til they finally did something about it. What car did hubby decide to get? Do you have a backup camera on yours? We have one for our Pilot and while I don't use it very often it is nice for the occasional backing up or parallel parking.

A - I too drive a Honda w/the backup camera, it's the side mirrors that seem to get me flustered and nervous though.

We rarely talked about it, but my hubby was driving my old college honda civic that was 13 years old! We joked endlessly about it but finally got a new Buick Enclave which is another funny story in itself I'll share another time.
