Pomegranate Coolers on the Rocks
1 sprig fresh mint
3 cups chilled pomegranate juice
1/4 cup lime juice
6 lime slices, for garnish
3 cups chilled ginger ale
ice (rocks for the non-knowing)
In a pitcher, muddle the mint with a wooden spoon. Stir in the pomegranate juice and lime juice; just before serving stir in the ginger ale. Strain into fabulous cocktail glasses filled with ice and garnish with lime slices. It's an amazing dark, crimson red color, a perfect fall color!
And, I've decided on these amazing place settings...
Doesn't that scrumptiously say, "ahh, good food is about to hit my palate"? Such a simple and cheap way to identify place seatings. However, I admit I'd actually do an Asian Pear instead of a traditional Bartlett to add more fall color to the table. Man, I'm getting excited already!
I'm not sure yet of what food will be served, but you know it will be, "if no one was looking I'd lick this plate clean this stuff is so good!" food so I'll get back to you on that.
