Christmas {Vaca}-part 4.

Goodness, the week just kept getting better!  After Christmas Day we met up with cousins to hit the Dinosaur Museum.
Trying to get my kids to smile and look at the camera was proving to be difficult, too many things all over the ceiling and in displays to look at!
This museum has some great interactive areas to play in.  All the kids LOVED the sand and water table.  I think we spent a good 45 minutes in this section!  That was fine though, it gave all us adults a good time to chat and get caught up in each other's lives:)

Towards the end is the giant prehistoric shark, my kids are too funny;)
Moving on, the Ice Castle was finally open!!!  We took our kids opening night, it was an absolute BLAST!!  It was chilly so boots, gloves, hats, the whole shebang was necessary but totally worth it!

we could have spent another hour there just playing, it was a great experience, something my kids will talk about for a long time:)
We decided to treat whoever wanted to a horse and sleigh ride one afternoon.  G and his cousin were lucky enough to get to sit up next to the girl who was our guide.   The best part was when one of my kids asked what the horses names were and our guide said, "Pete & Repeat".  If you've ever heard the "Pete & Repeat were sitting on a fence....." joke, you'll know why my kids died laughing!  They think this joke is so hilarious when Mr. D tells it, it never gets old to them:)

Here we go!!
All the kids had the most fun!  I'm so glad we were able to do this, it was a gorgeous day and it is clearly a must do activity if you live near mountains that have snow!
What a gorgeous day it was to do this excursion and it was even more awesome to have family with us to share in it!
What better way to warm up after a cold but fun sleigh ride than to take your cousin to go swimming in your resorts indoor/outdoor heated pool!
These 3 played so long and great together!
The indoor pool that had a swim under enterance so the kids could go back and forth without ever leaving the water, it was their favorite:)
Ok, enough swimming, we are hungry!!  We took Uncle D and his wife and 2 girls out to a nice dinner.  We had a scrumptious dinner out:)
Yummy desserts, we ordered too many I think;)

Our time in Utah is closing in, see how we wrapped up this vaca next....
