Disneyland Part (3)!

It's our last day at Disneyland, we only planned on 3 days here before moving on with our week long vacation in sunny California.  Captain America is Disneyland's brand new Super Hero and because he's the new guy in town, the lines a couple days prior were out the building and down the street!  So, we got there an hour before the ropes opened up and waited (well, grandma & grandpa did most the waiting for us while we took the kids to ride something and then come back).  We were first in line so our kiddos were super happy to finally get to meet Captain America!

Ok, ok, yes, I didn't pass up my chance to hold the bulging muscles of a Super Hero's arm.  Pretty sure Captain America wants to marry me.  

    

   

Since the girls were getting their Princess makeover done a couple days prior they missed out on the Super Hero stuff.  But have no fear, we had time to come back!

G had already done this but of course he wanted to try his hand at being virtual Iron Man once more!

Then off to meet two of the most popular girls EVER!  The most cherished sisters in the history of my daughters lives, Anna & Elsa from Frozen!  They chatted it up with my girls and Anna told Little R that their hair matched and Elsa and Baby R's hair matched....holy HUGE smiles after that connection was pointed out! 

What's a trip to Disneyland without meeting Mickey Mouse himself??  Always a gentleman that mouse! 

After a few more rides we had dinner at the Carnation Cafe right on Main Street.  Lucky for us, our dinner was over just in time for the parade to start so we got pretty great seating since we just had to walk right outside the restaurant and sit down:) 

Little R was loving that she fit in the Disneyland stroller, anytime Baby R wasn't using it she hopped right in.  It was just high enough for her to see over other heads in front of her so she got a great view of the parade:)

And Baby R.  What would we ever do without Baby R?  We love her.  She is pure awesome.  The woman in the photo on the right had scooted over (I think she was going to put her son down) but Baby R leaped off my lap and sat her little bum on down!  I called her back immediately but I got a "nooooo!".  Thankfully the woman reassured me it was A-OK and let her stay.

Parade finale!  As soon as the parade was over Baby R stood up, put one hand on her hip and pointed the other one at me and said, "mom, put me in that parade right now!".  She is still talking about it and we've been home for about a month now:)  That parade really resonated with her, I have explained to her that she needs to keep perfecting her talents of dancing and singing so one day she can work at Disneyland and BE in that parade!  And between you and me, I have a feeling that girl is going to BE the entire parade, her personality is HUGE which makes hanging out with her so comical and entertaining:)

 After the parade over at the Magic Kingdom, the kids wanted to go back to Cars Land and ride a few things we never did.  First one was Luigi's tires, these were hilarious!  Heaviest person sits in the middle and you lean in any direction you want the tire to go.

 
G and I rode together, of course he laughed as I smooshed him when we needed to go right;)  The other rides we went on were the tractor pull (SO MUCH FUN! But good luck getting a decent picture for that one, they move too quick).  And we also went on the Monsters Inc. ride.

My 3 buggers at dusk in Cars Land, love them so much and the smiles they have make this trip so perfect! 

After we rode a couple things at Cars Land we went back over to Magic Kingdom to catch the fireworks show. 

It was perfect weather when the sun would set, I didn't mind waiting at our staked out spot, it felt great.

As we waited G looks at me and says, "Mom, take my picture".  So I obliged.  Followed with... 

"Now with my hat this way." 

"Now this way." 

"And this way."  You're funny G:)

It was a fantastic 3 day trip to Disneyland, totally fun and we were all grateful that grandma & grandpa could drive up and spend those days with us.  It definitely makes it easier to please everyone when we can split up and have enough adults to do so;)  Our time may be over in Disneyland but we still have a few more days in California so we had a quick road trip down to San Diego to stay at grandma & grandpa's house......
