What I did on my Spring {Break}.

We took a roady down to San Antonio y'all!  It was our first time going and we were able to pack a lot in in such a short amount of time:)
First stop, the Children's Museum of San Antonio!

Next, a famous riverboat cruise along the famous Riverwalk!
Of course, the wax museum...can you guess who this is?
And, the Alamo.  I told Little R if her teacher at school asks her if she saw the Alamo, she needed to say, "yes".  My kids didn't understand this part of the trip, it was a little over their head I think.
Relaxing in the hotel right before bed cause the next day we went to....
SEA WORLD!!
We hit the first Shamu show of the day, HUGE mistake!  There were two whales in the show and my family chose to sit in the famous, splash zone.  They got both whales together and in my husbands words, "they double barrelled us!".  It was a freaking monsoon with how much water they pushed at us!  Baby R was crying so hard I finally took her and went up the stairs, not until we were pummeled one more time on our way out though!  Sheesh!
Poor Baby R, she was still crying even when we got to the top of the arena:(  Sorry baby, it was meant to be fun:)
You can't tell in this photo but we are all sopping!
Since the law made it illegal for trainers to be in the water with the orca whales, they created a new show where the trainers do all the same fun stunts but with dolphins and beluga whales instead.  Wasn't quite the same intensity as I remembered the Shamu show being as a kid, but it was still a lot of fun:)
Of course, the Seymour and Clyde show:)  G LOVED this show, he laughed so hard it was awesome!

Hey, it's Count Von Count!

After a fun filled day at Sea World we had one last day to pack in some fun things.  We chose to do the Ripley's Odditorium museum.  This is the world's largest tire, I couldn't fit the whole thing in the pic but my kids loved climbing in it:)

G and Little R trying to make big bellies like the fattest man in the world (he weighed 1400lbs!).

Walking along the Riverwalk is so pretty, if I lived here, I'd use it as my running trail:)
We took the kids on a horse and buggy ride through downtown, it was a nice way to relax and wind up our stay in San Antonio:)
Good bye San Antonio, you showed us a good time so I'm sure we will be back (after summer though, of course)!
