Persistence is key!

So as you know, I'm in the process of decorating Little R's room into a gorgeous sanctuary for her (I'll update you on the latest at the end of this post).  I'm getting her bathroom put together in the meantime.  I'm trying to stay cost savvy on things so it's hard when I find things I REALLLLLY want but can't justify the price.  Example A:  The above shower curtain.  I fell in love with this curtain and new it was perfect.  However, the more than $120 price tag didn't fit my cost friendly savvy wallet so I moved on to find something similar.......

Enter the next gorgeous shower curtain that is very similar and I love it just the same!!  Enter $160 price tag, I'm going UP in price!!!  Maybe I'll make one, Maybe I can hire a friend whose name rhymes with "biz" to make me one, Maybe I can scrap my vision and find something that'll do.  Nope, Heather does NOT make do!  I'll keep looking.....

My persistence paid off!  I FINALLY found something similar to my other two and you want to know how much I paid???  Go ahead, guess!!.........$16.00!!!  Yes, for less than $20 I got the same look without staring into an empty wallet!  I'm so proud of myself for sticking through with my vision, I love her new shower curtain!! 

Ok, the latest on her room is....I'm having a bed made for her that will take approximately 6-8 weeks to arrive. I purchased her a new mattress set for her bed (if you remember, her bedroom set is going to Baby R) that is being delivered Saturday. The mattress store didn't want me to leave my mattress set in their warehouse so they threw in a basic bed frame so I'd let them deliver it before her new bed actually got to my house in a couple of months.  Little R picked out her new bedding last night so that is being shipped as we speak.
